Jessica Coale
Jessica Coale,
Jessica Coale is an independent lighting designer, who has been illuminating
and collaborating with artists, directors and choreographers in Atlanta for
well over a decade. Jessica has taught technical theater to teens through the
"Kinetechs" program at Moving in the Spirit Dance Company, and will spend her
summer at 7 Stages teaching technical theatre with the Youth Creates Summer
Camp. Recent lighting design credits have included Waiting for Godot (7 Stages),
A Raisin in the Sun (Theatre in the Square), Pippin (Kennesaw State University),
Santa Land Diaries (Horizon Theatre) and The Chairs with 7 Stages in Shanghai,
China as part of the 5th Annual Shanghai International Arts Festival.
Jessica has also worked with angelworks sma, Harmony Works,
Theatre du Reve, Metropolitan Ballet Theater, Theatrical Outfit and
Georgia Perimeter College. She is the resident lighting designer at
7 Stages Theatre and is the Production Electrician for The Atlanta Opera.
Heidi Howard
Heidi Howard,
Heidi S. Howard is 7 Stages Resident Stage Manager and Education Director.
She has collaborated as director, stage manager, teacher, properties designer,
scenic painter and technician with Out of Hand, Harmony Works, angelworksma,
Theatrical Outfit, Horizons School, The Atlanta School, and of course with
the lovely ladies of Synchronicity.
Synchronicity favorite credits
include the RYDC workshops, Free to Be, One Flea Spare, On the Verge,
Fall, and various staged readings.
Celeste Miller
Celeste Miller,
Celeste Miller is a solo performer, choreographer and master teaching artist.
She debuted her unique performance style in Atlanta in the early 80’s, and
went on to become a national touring artist in alternative venues throughout
the United States. Miller’s performance work is a combination of spoken word
and movement that plumbs narrative for physical imagery in juxtaposed
connection with words. Producers of her work include Dia Foundation and
PS 122 in New York, DanceAspen, 7 Stages/Atlanta, Highways/Los Angeles,
Sushi Performance Space/San Diego, Dance Umbrella/Austin, Dance Place/DC,
Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Miami WAVES Festival, Cleveland
Performance Art Festival, and college Theatre, Dance and Women’s Studies programs.
Commissioners include Emory University, Boston Dance Umbrella, Grinnell College,
Univeristy of Georgia, American Festival Project and the New Orleans Ballet
Dance Collective. She has received fellowships from The National Endowment
for the Arts, The Atlanta Mayor’s Office, Maryland Arts Council, Massachusetts
Cultural Council and the Rockefeller Foundation. Miller is on Faculty at the
School of Jacob’s Dance Festival and is Resident Artist for Moving in the Spirit.
She is honored to announce her recent invitation to become an Associate with
Synchronicity with whom she worked as choreographer for Women + War.
The Women + War collaboration marked Miller’s return to Atlanta after a
fifteen year absence. It was an auspicious beginning to a new life chapter.
