Synchronicity is a nonprofit theatre company founded in 1997. Since bursting onto the Atlanta scene, Synchronicity has produced gutsy, high-quality and entertaining plays that resonate with our audience, our community and our lives. We support the work of women. We take artistic chances to make our audiences think about important issues. We partner with community groups to deepen the relationship between our audiences and the work. Synchronicity operates a vital theatre space in the heart of midtown Atlanta.

We can always use a few more hands building the sets, handing out programs, assisting with special events and invitation mailings. If you have a few extra hours, want to get back into the carpentry of your youth or learn first hand how one of Atlanta’s cutting-edge theatre companies operates, then volunteering is for you!

Synchronicity Theatre could not continue to operate without the help and support of our are that important, truly.

Each season we need volunteer ushers for all of our performances, greeters at the theatre door, help with our “float” in the Little Five Points Halloween Parade, opening night parties, post-show conversations with ice cream, our Women in the Arts Panel Luncheon in spring and our Playmaking for Girls Public Performance in June. And more!

Contact for more info.

Auditions are by appointment and are limited to professional actors only. We actively pull from our headshots and attend the annual ACPA Unified Auditions. We occasionally post auditions on a show-by-show basis in industry resources. If we do not have a current headshot and resume on file for you, please send one to us. We will call you if we would like to see you audition.

If you are a young actor starting out, please consider becoming a part of our internship program.

We are always interested in your work. If you are in a show around town, drop us a note and we will try to catch it. This is the best way for us to get to know you, so please keep us informed. For more information, email Rachel May.
